- Is care in my own home the right thing to do?
When a proposal for health care, particularly for patients during the rehabilitation period is necessary, when you need to follow all medical procedures, such as taking medicines timely and correctly, in order to heal soon, there are many options available to you; you can learn more by talking to independent and trusted care service organization such as our professional nurses or your own Doctor . We would be happy to talk through your options with you.. The important thing to remember is that Gentel Homecare will work with you to tailor a program that is right for YOUR Health.
- Will I have the same Nurse every day?
You will be assigned a team of Nurses that fits your needs. You’ll soon get to know regular faces as many clients tell us how they really get fond of their Nurse team as they get to know them better. If a nurse is sick or on holiday, another fully trained nurse will be sent as replacement.
- I need help during the night, is this possible?
Yes of course. Our Night team works through the night and can provide regular health care such as helping you to bed and all of our clients have access to our out-of-hours help should you need it in an emergency.
- What will happen if a nurse can’t get to me due to some circumstance?
Our Gentel Homecare service is backed up by emergency response qualified team who can tackle any circumstances and conditions, making sure that we can attend to 100% of our scheduled calls. We have locally managed teams throughout the UAE, which means that in the unusual event that your nurse can’t get out to you, an alternative nurse would be sent and you would be notified of this right away.
- How will I recognize a Gentel Homecare Nurses?
All of our Nurses wear a Gentel Homecare identification badge with their photograph attached. They also wear a uniform. If, for whatever reason, you are unsure of the identity of the Nurse, phone us immediately for verification.
- How are Gentel Homecare Nurses recruited?
All of our Nurses are thoroughly screened and interviewed at our head office at Al Ain. The Nurses are licensed (DHA, HAAD or MOH) and has been through the process of data flow (for verification of education and experience) .
- How much will I need to pay for home care?
We will be happy to speak to you to explain fees and funding in more detail; generally, you can manage your own budget by paying privately or alternatively through insurance companies.
